50% of the time it’s a quick easy fix for any solar tech…

• Error messages and fault codes that are due to an external fault elsewhere in the solar system.

Aldo called ACE in regards to his inverter not displaying anything on the screen, as well as his electricity bill spiking.

Initial diagnostics and found the AC power was okay and the AC and DC connections were okay but the DC power was not reaching enough voltage to start the inverter. Inspected the DC isolator at the panels, where we found two DC isolators had water damage due to incorrect installation when it was first put it.

We replaced the DC isolators and carried out more tests. The inverter remained in start-up mode and never entered its on mode. As the inverter was still in warranty, Aurora sent out a new inverter. ACE installed the new inverter and got the system up and running again.
