If your 1.5kw Inspire solar inverter has ceased working with no display on the screen and no buttons lit, then there could be an internal fault with your inverter or an external fault with your panels.

Trouble Shooting Tips

Below are some suggested solutions to your 1.5kw Inspire Non-Working Solar Inverter problem:

  2. If diagnostics test and inspection don’t reveal any problems and solutions, have a licensed electrician remove the faulty inverter.
  3. The inverter will need to be sent to a solar inverter engineer.
  4. The solar inverter engineer will repair your inverter and send it back to you.
  5. Have a licensed electrician install the newly repaired inverter.

Client Case Study – Inspire 1.5kW Solar Inverter

Michael From Milperra

Michael called ACE as he was concerned about his solar inverter not working. There was no display on the inverter screen and Michael’s electricity bill had spiked within the last month.

On our initial diagnostics, there was 0 volts at the DC isolator. This indicates that there was a fault somewhere before the inverter and potentially within one of the panels. We inspected the panels and found a burnt cable on the DC isolator caused by a loose connection when first installed.

This issue was fixed by replacing the whole DC isolator on the roof with a new switch style isolator. This allowed us to carry out our diagnostics tests and determine where there was low voltage. After the tests were carried out, the inverter was unable to start up again. This resulted in shipping the inverter off to the solar engineer so they could carry out further tests.
